Karan Johar deserves hype that surrounds him: Lisa Haydon

“It would be unwise for me to say no to any good opportunity that comes my way. I would love to do something in Hollywood. But I’m grateful for everything that I get to do here (in Bollywood),” she says.

Actors are known to be competitive. Hence, Lisa’s friendship with her contemporaries Jacqueline Fernandez and Nargis Fakhri, on the sets of Housefull 3, caught the attention of many.

“I knew I would get along with them. It is good that the trend is changing. I think it is time for us to support one another. It is only insecure people who are looking to put others down,” says Lisa, who will play a cameo role in film-maker Karan Johar’s next. “He is such an amazing director. He deserves all the hype that surrounds him,” she adds.

Lisa is currently a judge on a reality TV show that features upcoming models. The actor, who is a former model, says this profession is not just about being beautiful and tall. “There is a lot of pressure. You come from a regular life, and suddenly you are put on a stage, where you are open to all kinds of judgement. You have to be fearless,” she adds.
