Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma team up again for Karan Johar

In an upcoming episode of Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee WIth Karan, Katrina Kaif will be seen with Anushka Sharma.

It has been rumoured for some time now that Katrina Kaif will appear alongside Hrithik Roshan [they worked together in films such as Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011) and Bang Bang (2014)] on Koffee With Karan, hosted by Karan Johar. But now, HT Café has learnt that Anushka Sharma, not Hrithik, will team up with Katrina for the show.

“There was a lot of mystery and speculation about who will be on the show, but it was decided on Thursday evening by Karan [Johar; the show’s host] that Katrina and Anushka would make an interesting pair, as it will create a new partnership,” a source says. The episode will be shot within a few days.

Katrina and Anushka have worked together in Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012), the last directorial by the late Yash Chopra. “Katrina and Anushka have always shared a very cordial equation with one another,” says the source.

It was rumoured that Katrina would be appearing on the show with Salman Khan. But that didn’t work out. Later, it was reported that she was not keen to go on the show, as she wanted to avoid questions about her alleged ex-boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor. The source adds, “Now that Katrina will appear on the show with Anushka, she will be more comfortable. It goes without saying that she will be grilled with all kinds of questions.” Karan could not be reached for a comment.
