Marketing masterstroke: Kareena to become a brand marketer for a day

An F&B brand has approached Kareena Kapoor Khan for her inputs on how they can market one of their products.

In today’s day and age, companies try various strategies — from making dynamic ads to arranging contests — to get the attention of their customers. Their chief marketing strategy, however, is appointing a brand ambassador. Kareena Kapoor Khan, for one, may soon be doing something completely different with an F&B company.

A source close to the actor says, “Ever since the start of her career, Kareena has been endorsing many brands, and has a long-standing relationship with them. Because she has experience and is knowledgeable about the field, a brand has recently approached her to be part of their brainstorming session. They want Kareena to help them formulate their new marketing strategy for one of their products.” The source also adds that the F&B brand has asked the actor to attend one of their meetings as a guest marketer. In the meeting, the marketing team will present their pitches, while Kareena will also give her set of ideas on how they can market their product well.

The Bollywood actor remained unavailable for a comment, but her spokesperson confirmed the news, saying, “Yes, Kareena was surprised to receive such an offer from the brand. She thinks it is an interesting idea.”
