Model-turned-actor Saba Azad is making the right noise with her just-released flick, Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge (MFK). After debuting in Dil Kabaddi (2008), the actor has finally got noticed with this Yashraj film.
Model-turned-actor Saba Azad is making the right noise with her just-released flick, Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge (MFK). After debuting in Dil Kabaddi (2008), the actor has finally got noticed with this Yashraj film.
“I was never actively chasing a career in films. I went for the occasional auditions and one of them happened to be for Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge,” says that actor, who has a theatre background. To pursue her love for cinema, she moved out of her parents’ house at a young age. “While I was in Delhi, I started modelling to pay my bills. Then I moved to Bombay.”
Apart from acting and dancing, she is also a trained musician.

No one has ever pronounced friendship like this on my face but occasionally people use it as a pick up line on Facebook. I usually choose not to reply.
On photography
I play a photographer in the film but I enjoy photography personally as well. I prefer film to digital as I just love to wait till the film is washed.
On working with YRFI
I went through a two-week-long gruelling audition period where I had to dance and enact scenes from different films at the end of which I landed the part.
On bagging MFK

The success of small budget films has proved that talent is irreplaceable. Yes, it’s not be as easy for those with no connections. But it’s getting better.
On being an outsider
I am just hoping to do good work whether it is on screen or on stage as I have done a lot of theatre. I am happy as long as I can continue doing my kind of work.

If it’s imperative to the plot of the film (nine out of ten times it’s not) and is shot aesthetically then yes… but definitely not if its for titillation.
