No question of me being upset with Vidya: Sanjay Leela Bhansali

It was recently reported that film-maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is miffed with Vidya Balan, as she was supposed to present him an award at an event last week, but left the venue without giving him the trophy. However, Bhansali rubbishes the reports. “This is a figment of someone’s imagination. Nothing of that sort happened. So, there’s absolutely no question of me being upset with Vidya,” he says.

Talking about his equation with the Bollywood actor, Bhansali says, “I love Vidya. I have the highest regard for her as an actor. She is also a dear friend.”

Besides being a successful film-maker, Bhansali is also a talented music composer. The award in mention was for the soundtrack of Bajirao Mastani (2015). “When I make music and films, I am the happiest. I feel I am the most fortunate person in the world to be able to do both,” he says.
