Actor Reema Lagoo died of a cardiac arrest in the wee hours today. She was 59.

Veteran actor Reema Lagoo’s last rites were held in Mumbai’s Oshiwara crematorium today. Lagoo passed away following a cardiac arrest. The funeral was attended by people from Bollywood and Marathi film industry.

Among those who paid their last respects to the actor were Kajol, Rishi Kapoor, Kiran Kumar, Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao.

The others from the Marathi film industry who attended her funeral were Sameer Dharmadhikari, Manoj Joshi, Ramesh Bhatkar and Mahesh Kothare.

Reema was best known for her roles in Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Shah Rukh Khan, Kal Ho Na Ho and Hum Aapke Hain Koun. She was last seen in ongoing TV serial Naamkarann.
