Bollywood stars are not known to be punctual and actor Ranbir Kapoor was no different when he arrived late by four hours for a press conference much to the annoyance of media and fans.
Many journalists decided to leave after waiting for almost three hours but some stayed back for the press conference which was scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM in Gurgaon yesterday but started around 8:30.
The Rockstar actor, director Imtiaz Ali and actress Nargis Fakhri later apologised for the delay, shifting the blame on Delhi's traffic.
"I am very sorry that we are late. But the traffic in Delhi is maddening. There is nothing much that we could do," Ranbir said.
Ali also appologised for the delay saying, "We got stuck in traffic. We were on the road for four hours. Those who left we have nothing to tell them but those of you who waited all I want to say is thank you so much."
Later, Ranbir made up for the delay and wooed his miffed fans by proposing a girl at the event.
The actor, in a complete Janardan Jhakhar style, the character he plays in 'Rockstar', jumped over the chair and said "I Love You" and asked her if she would like to be his girlfriend.
The actor's antics left the fan blushing with joy. 'Rockstar' hits the theatres on November 11.
