Ranbir replaces SRK in Two States

Actor Ranbir Kapoor, 29, will now play the lead in the film Two States, which is based on author Chetan Bhagat’s novel by the same name. Earlier actor Shah Rukh Khan had reportedly been finalised for the role.

Earlier actor Shah Rukh Khan had reportedly been finalised for the role.



The film will be produced by filmmakers Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala.



“Sajid has the rights of the book and we are in discussions about an association,” says Johar.



Sajid confirms, “Karan and I are in talks to produce a film together. He approached me but nothing has been finalised yet.”



While SRK is busy promoting his sci-fi superhero fil RA.One, Ranbir is currently shooting for Barfee opposite Priyanka Chopra.
