Ranveer Singh who plays the desi Romeo in the Indian adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is seen romancing Gujarati belle Deepika Padukone in the fresh trailer of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali flick.

The actors who are cast opposite each other for the first time exude brilliant chemistry on screen. Bhansali sure knows how to get the best out of his actors. That's probably why the lead actors Ranveer and Deepika are working so hard, even after the completion of the film's shoot.

The trailer exudes a typical Bhasali set with a fiery Deepika and a Casanova-styled Ranveer.

It's heard that Ranveer is taking personal interest in the post production of the film and has been visiting Bhansali's office regularly.

Deepika Padukone has also not left any stone unturned. Perfectionist Bhansali even complimented her for doing justice to the character of Leela who has been named after his mother. According to buzz, Deepika broke down into tears, when the maverick director praised her.

The film is a period drama set in Gujarat. It also features an item song, which has been picturised on Priyanka Chopra.
