Ready becomes second biggest opener

Salman Khan's magic seems to have worked again. Ready has not only become the second biggest opener, it is also weaving magic overseas. The film has collected Rs 40.5 crore in the first weekend from domestic market and has grossed Rs 8.25 crore in the foreign market.

Salman Khan's magic seems to have worked again. Ready has not only become the second biggest opener, it is also weaving magic overseas. The film has collected Rs 40.5 crore in the first weekend from domestic market and has grossed Rs 8.25 crore in the foreign market, reports Bollywood Hungama. The biggest ever opener is another Salman starrer Dabangg which collected 48.5 crore in its first weekend.

Domestic market
While the movie opened with Rs 13.15 crore on the first day, it went on to collect Rs 12.25 crore and Rs 15.25 crore on Saturday and Sunday.

Overseas figures
The composite figure of Rs 4.25 crore comes from UK, US, UAE, Australia and New Zealand only.

"In its very first weekend the movie has garnered £ 2,36,869 (approx. Rs 1.74 crores) on 50 screens, from the UK Box Office and collected $ 4,60,238 (approx. Rs. 2.06 crores) on 98 screens, from the US Box Office," says Taran Adarsh.

New Zealand Box Office is also not very far behind with Rs 18.61 lakh as the gross collection.
