Actor Richa Chadha has turned producer with Punjabi short film Khoon Aali Chithi based on the Khalistan Movement in Punjab. As this is her first production venture, Richa is making sure that everything is perfect. “For my debut production, I wanted to give my best. During the shoot, I assisted the cast in the film. I wanted to help them as much as I could so that they could give better scenes and be able to emote better. I am really looking forward to audiences’ feedback,” says Richa.

According to a source close to the actor, Richa used to be present on the set everyday during the filming. “During the shoot, she was present most of the times and when she couldn’t make it, she somehow stayed connected with the team,” informs the source adding that Richa even helped the cast of the film in improvising their scenes and gave them few acting tips to make the shot look better. “She made sure every shot was captured exactly how the director (Rupinder Singh) wanted it to be. She is planning to make this short film into a feature film and is currently working on it,” adds the source.
