Sanjay Dutt to play the baddie in Shuddhi?

Buzz is that filmmaker Karan Johar has approached actor Sanjay Dutt to play the antagonist in his much-delayed project, Shuddhi, which stars actor Salman Khan in the lead.

"Sanjay has been approached to play a significant role in the film, and the talks are on," a source was quoted as saying in a Mumbai tabloid.

Dutt is currently serving a 42-month sentence (since May 2013) at Pune’s Yerwada jail for illegal possession of weapons during the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.

Shuddhi, that will be directed by Karan Malhotra, is slated to hit theatres in December 2015. Karan Malhotra directed the 2012 remake of Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Agneepath (1990).
