The actor, who started his Hindi cinema journey in 2003 with the film Ishq Vishk, took to Instagram to share a photograph thanking his fans for their support.
“4 million. Thank you, thank you, thank you,” Shahid captioned the image.

The Kaminey star was last seen on the big screen in the 2015 film Shaandaar along with his actor father Pankaj Kapur, his half-sister Sanah Kapur and Alia Bhatt.
Shahid is currently prepping for his next film Udta Punjab, an upcoming neo-noir drama thriller film directed by Abhishek Chaubey, which also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt. The film tells the story of substance abuse in the Indian state of Punjab.
The Haider actor is also filming the period romance drama film Rangoon, which also stars actress Kangana Ranaut and is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
