Shahid Kapoor is a generous employer. And the actor’s staff will probably vouch for that. After giving them electronic gadgets post the release of his last film, Shahid has now given some of his staff a day off tomorrow (October 16) on the occasion of Bakr-Eid.

A source close to the actor reveals, “Most of his staff is Muslim, and since he has been working late nights for some time, he didn’t want them to be stuck with him. That’s why he has asked them to take the day off.” When asked, Shahid’s spokesperson confirms the news, saying, “Every time there’s a festive occasion, Shahid makes it a point to give his staff a break. He appreciates the fact that they travel with him and work as per his schedule all the time, which is why he doesn’t want them to miss out on festivities.”

The actor, meanwhile, is busy shooting for Prabhu Dheva’s next film, R… Rajkumar.

Shahid Kapoor recently hurt his toe while he was shooting an action sequence for R…Rajkumar in Wai. However, that didn’t stop the actor from continuing his work. As a matter of fact, a few days later he even went on to shoot the song, ‘Gandi baat’. “Two days after he hurt himself, he was required to shoot for the song in Mumbai. Although he was still in pain, he matched the steps perfectly because he didn’t want to jeopardise the film’s (shooting) schedule,” says producer Viki Rajani.
