Be it for the role of fun-loving Sukhi from Rang De Basanti or the nervous Raju Rastogi from 3 Idiots, actor Sharman Joshi has surely managed to make a prominent mark in the hearts of the audience. However, the 32-year-old, who was recently in the Capital, personally feels that he will be seen at his best in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s upcoming film, Ferrari Ki Sawari, where he plays the lead.

“It is a summer release and we are in the last leg of the shoot. Though it’s too early to anticipate much but I can tell you that it is a heart warming, simple and happy film…. a complete joyride,” says Joshi, talking about the film that’s being directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. And how was it working with Vidhu again? “It’s been a pleasure. He is a very dedicated person with strong work ethics,” replies Sharman, who is also working in Vidhu’s next project, Chitthiyaan.

Recently Joshi also shot an ad campaign with Hollywood choreographer, Simon Lind for 7 Up, a soft drink brand that he endorses. For the uninitiated, Simon is the name behind the tap-dancing penguin, Mumble, in the film, Happy Feet. “I loved working on this campaign as it has a very positive approach,” says Joshi.

Lastly, how does he feel coming back to Delhi? “I love the sense of romance that Delhi has. I love the Delhi winters and its awesome food,” he says.
