Contrary to rumours that claimed Sonakshi walked out of Kamal Haasan's project because it took too long to start, it has emerged the lady was dropped out of the movie because she couldn't lose enough weight.

Sonakshi Sinha is no longer a part of Kamal Hassan’s Vishwaroopam, and hushed whispers are doing the rounds, about how the issue with Sonakshi came not from dates, but her weight. Apparently her character in the film has a number of action sequences and therefore needs to be lean and fit.

Sonakshi is rumoured to have weight problems, and apparently puts on weight if she doesn’t stick to a strict diet and workout regime.

A source told a daily, "The makers gave her a couple of months to get lean. She had to do outfit trials and also begin physical training. However, she was unable to look the part even after that."

The movie was supposed to start shooting by the end of June, and Sonakshi cited delays as her reason for quitting the film. However, Tollywood buzz has it that the real reason was her weight problems.

The source also told the daily that Kamal Hassan is now searching for new faces. "It's a big budget film and he doesn't want any more delays. The reason he chose Sonakshi is because he really liked her work in Dabangg and thought she would appeal to the audience down south as well. However, now that things haven't worked out, they have gone separate ways."
