“I remember spending time with SRK right after we won the championship in 2012. He discussed how it had been an amazing journey — from settling for the last place to becoming the champions. He said that the journey would make for a terrific story. That’s how the idea emerged and we decided to go ahead and record this story for all our fans,” says Venky Mysore, CEO and managing director of the team.

The documentary will feature the team’s journey from the start of the league in 2008, till last year. The highlights will be the team’s performance, its ups and downs, official meets and behind-the-scene moments.

“It is a product to look forward to, not just for fans of the team, but all followers of the sport,” says Mysore. The team is co-owned by actor Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta.
