Sunny Deol set to remake Tom Hardy’s Legend in India
Apparently, the actor is in talks with a Hollywood production house to buy the remake rights of a Tom Hardy film.
Sunny Deol is best known for his roles in action films such as Arjun (1985), Ghayal (1990), Ghatak (1996) and Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001), among others. Despite spending almost three decades in the industry, he has rarely attempted taking on a dark role in his career.

But, that might change now. Apparently, the actor is in talks with a Hollywood production house to buy the remake rights of a Tom Hardy film.

A source close to him tells us, “Recently, Sunny was in the US with his sons, Karan and Rajvir. During an outing, the three went to watch a recently released film starring Hardy, in which he has a double role. The movie captures the rise and fall of two UK-based gangsters, known as the Kray twins. It charts their gruesome career, from their rise to downfall, and eventual imprisonment in 1969. Sunny liked the movie a lot and felt that the film should be made in India too.”

Talking about his plans, he says, “I have been a fan of Hardy since the days of Sucker Punch (2008). I recently saw Legend in the US along with my kids, and we were absolutely thrilled by Hardy’s performance. Watching the film has made me want to remake it in Bollywood, and I am in talks to do so.”
