Actor Aamir Khan might have played a cop in Baazi (1995) and Sarfarosh (1999) but it’s only with his role as Inspector Surjan Singh Shekhawat in his upcoming flick, Talaash, that the Bollywood perfectionist has finally donned the Khaki uniform.

“Aamir is returning to the big screen in a big budget starrer only after 3 Idiots (2009) and this one is sure going to spark fireworks at the box office. It will have at least a good two-week run at the box office, and should do a net business of over Rs 150 crore,” says trade analyst Joginder Tuteja.

Touted to revive the suspense-thriller genre in the industry almost after two decades, the much awaited flick has already been marked by an array of controversies, but only to work in its favour, gaining further anticipation.
