Tiger Shroff is relieved Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra aren’t in Student of the Year 2, compares Will Smith with Kapil Sharma

Tiger Shroff says no one would have noticed him if Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra were part of Student of the Year 2.

Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, has compared Hollywood star Will Smith with TV actor-comedian Kapil Sharma and has also said that he is relieved that his upcoming film, Student of the Year 2, does not feature Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.

Directed by Punit Malhotra, Student of the Year 2 marks the debut of Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday and is a sequel to Karan Johar’s 2012 film that launched the careers of Alia Bhatt, Varun and Sidharth. While Alia has a special song in the new film - titled Hook Up - neither Varun nor Sidharth will be seen in the movie.

In an interview to BollywoodLife, Tiger was asked about the absence of Varun and Sidharth and he said, “Thank God yaar! Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan are not there in the film. Mujhe Kon dekhta? Anyway, their fans must be upset that I am doing Student of The Year 2.”

Tiger, who recently appeared on the Kapil Sharma Show to promote the film, also compared Hollywood star Will Smith with the host. Will shot a song with the Student of the Year 2 cast when he was in India, and Kapil asked Tiger about his experience of working with the legendary Hollywood actor. “I was so overwhelmed that even after gaining immense fame and accolades in his career as an actor, singer, dancer and more, Will used to come to me to learn dance steps during the shoot. You (Kapil) are as grounded as Will Smith. Even after getting such a huge fan following across the globe, you are still a generous person at heart,” Tiger was quoted as saying.

Apart from Student of the Year 2, Tiger has an action film with Hrithik Roshan in the pipeline, and will soon begin work on third film in his hit Baaghi franchise, and a Hindi remake of the Tamil film Remo.
