Varun and Alia were provided with 20 security guards by the local authorities. But due to the crowd, the security had to be almost doubled. “Besides the local personnel, Varun and Alia’s personal security guards were also present. It was still difficult to manage the crowd,” adds the insider.

Apparently, Varun was more concerned about Alia’s safety. “He gave the guards special instructions to ensure her safety,” says the source, adding, “Being a people person, Varun did not mind the extra attention. He was happy to receive so much love.”
