Watch: first trailer of Kaanchi launches a new face

The first trailer of Subhash Ghai's Kaanchi is out. Starring newbie Mishti and Kartik Aryan, the film is the story of a girl's fight against the system and society.

Is it okay for a girl to be furiously angry or to swear?

These are the questions that feature in the first trailer of Subhash Ghai's Kaanchi.

Starring Mishti and Kartik Aryan, the film is the story of a girl's fight against the system and society.

It begins innocently enough, with Mishti in her mist-laden mountains reminding you of Sneha Ullal in Lucky. The scene soon shifts and the trailer moves on to graver issues such as corruption, revolution and change.

The trailer also shows Mithun Chakrovorty and Adil Hussain as political leaders.

Kaanchi is slated for release on April 25.?
