Actor Eijaz Khan, who was last seen as Jassi in Tanu Weds Manu Returns, is all set to don a negative character in his upcoming film. Interestingly, for one of the scenes, the actor got slapped 14 times by his co-star, Turkish actor Suha Gezento.

“We couldn’t get it right in the first seven takes, because the actress alongside me was new, so she was a little reluctant. To perfect the scene, we had to do seven more retakes and then the director okayed the shot and I finally heaved a sigh of relief,” says the actor

The 39-year-old was offered the lead role in this film, however he felt that the negative track was meatier. “I don’t look at a role based on whether it is a lead role or anything else. I feel all actors think like this,” signs off Ejaz.
