Why did Sajid make Humshakals? The Rs 40 crore weekend collection is the answer

Never mind the critics who have not tired of dissing Sajid Khan's Humshakals. After its record Rs 12 crore opening at the BO on Friday, the multi-starrer picked up further over the weekend, to collect Rs 45.23 crore in just four days.

Even as critics pan Sajid Khan's latest directorial venture , the film continues to set cash registers ringing at the box office. By the end of the first weekend, the Saif Ali Khan-Riteish Deshmukh-Ram Kapoor-starrer clocked in a whopping Rs 45.23 crore in collections. This, in just four days of its release!



After making record opening at the ticket windows, with Rs 12 crore on Friday, picked up further over the weekend to collect Rs 12.59 crore and Rs 15.04 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. It earned a further Rs 5.10 crore on Monday.
