Hindujas stay ahead of Mittal to top UK Indian rich list
The Hinduja brothers have been named the richest Asians in Britain for 2014 with a wealth of £13.5 billion (Rs 1,35,918cr), ahead of ArcelorMittal chairman LN Mittal with a net worth of £12 billion (Rs 1,20,816cr).

The combined net worth of 101 millionaires in the list rose £6.5 billion to to £51.5 billion compared to 2013.
During 2013, the Hinduja brothers increased their net worth by £1 billion to £13.5 billion. Steel magnate LN Mittal’s net worth also rose by £1 billion to £12 billion.
Of the total number of millionaires, sixty saw a rise in their net worth, with at least four more than doubling their wealth.
Only those individuals with businesses worth over £55 million were included in this year’s list.
“The list shows the diversity of Asian businesses in the UK. Despite the challenges many business leaders in the community have seen opportunity and moved quickly to capitalise,” said Shailesh Solanki, executive editor, AMG Group.
The list was released during the Asian Business Awards on Friday where the Tata Group was honoured with the International Business Award.
