India's monthly inflation may touch double digits by March, federal Chief Statistician Pronab Sen told a television channel on Tuesday.
"It is really possible," he said, when asked whether inflation could touch double digits by March.
India's wholesale price index rose to 7.31 percent in December from a year earlier, driven by higher food prices.
