Ratan Tata, chairman, Tata Motors, on Sunday launched six cars from Jaguar and Land Rover, the two British luxury marques that Tata bought last year.

The vehicles would be imported and serviced in India by Tata Motors, though Jaguar and Land Rover (JLR), would have extensive training sessions for its mechanics and salespersons, a JLR official said.
The company will target Chennai, Banglaore, Delhi and Hyderabad after Mumbai.
Jaguar’s India lineup would include the XF, XFR and the XKR. Land Rover would offer Discovery 3, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover.
The cars would be available in prices beginning from Rs 63 and 64 lakh for Land Rover and Jaguar, going up to Rs 90 lakh, ex-showroom Mumbai.
