A spoof news report item on a popular social media website has not gone down too well with the Tata Group as it mentions the London address the group’s UK subsidiary, on whose letter-head the news spoof has allegedly been issued.

“We are upset that the London address of our subsidiary in the UK has been appended to such a mail,” a Tata Group official told HT. “We categorically dissociate ourselves from this mail.”

A spokesperson for the group said they would write to the agency concerned to remove the address and may seek legal help.
