Nimbuzz inks pact with Toshiba

Mobile application developer Nimbuzz has partnered with Toshiba to develop optimised versions of its social messaging application for the electronics firm's mobile communications division.

Mobile application developer Nimbuzz on Tuesday said it has partnered with Toshiba to develop optimised versions of its social messaging application for the electronics firm's mobile communications division.

The agreement will bring instant messaging and social networking capabilities to Toshiba's new handset, TG01.

"We are pleased to announce Nimbuzz as our social messaging partner. Nimbuzz will complete the PC like Internet experience of TG01 from flash site browsing to social networking," Toshiba Mobile Communications Division (Europe) Head of Product Planning and Strategy Bertand Issard said in a statement.
