Oil firms raise auto LPG prices

State-run oil firms on Thursday raised price of LPG for use in vehicles by almost a rupee per litre, a day after raising domestic LPG prices by Rs 50 per cylinder.

Auto LPG in Delhi with effect from Thursday will cost Rs 35.76 per litre as against Rs 34.78, according to an Indian Oil official.

In Mumbai the price has been raised to Rs 35.68 from Rs 34.61 per litre, while in Kolkata the hike was Rs 1.04 to Rs 37.66 per litre.

Chennai saw auto LPG price being raised by 2.8 per cent to Rs 38.13 per litre.
