RIL hikes polymer prices

The price of Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) has been increased by Rs 0.79 to Rs 64.86 per kg from Rs 64.07, industry sources said.

Prices of Polyster Stable Fibre (PSF) has been kept unchanged at Rs 65.30 per kg, they said.

Price of fibre intermediateries Purified Terephthalic acid (PTA) and Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) have been increased Rs 0.10 each to Rs 43.90 and Rs 44.80 respectively, they said.

Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) prices have been hiked by Rs 2 each to Rs 57.42 and Rs 59 respectively, they said.

Prices of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and Linear Alkyl Benzene have been kept unchanged at Rs 38 and Rs 69.30 respectively, they added.
