Shilpa Shetty, husband buy majority stake in HSGIL

Celebrity couple Shilpa Shetty Kundra and her husband Raj Kundra have acquired majority stake in Hindusthan Safety Glass Industries Ltd (HSGIL).

In two separate BSE filings, Raj Kundra (Ripu Sudan Kundra) and Shilpa Shetty Kundra have informed that they have picked up 25.75 per cent stake each in the company on September 3, 2014.

Shares of HSGIL have not traded since February 21, 2014. Its last trading price was Rs 10.10 apiece.

Meanwhile, in a separate filing, Mark Corporate Advisors Pvt Ltd announced open offer to acquire 26 per cent stake in the company by the celebrity couple.

As per the open offer announcement, the offer price of Rs 12 per fully paid-up equity share of face value of Rs 10 each aggregates to a consideration of Rs 95.32 lakh, the company added.
