Wholesale markets in capital shut on nationwide bandh

All the wholesale commodity markets, including bullion, metal, steel, plastic and chemical, were closed in the national capital today due to Bharat Bandh, called by opposition parties to protest against fuel price hike.

However, stock exchanges, forex and futures commodity markets such as Multi Commodity Exchange and National Commodity & Derivative Exchange were open for regular trading.
