60-year-old held for outraging minor’s modesty
A Mauli Jagran resident complained that the modesty of his minor daughter was outraged by a 60-year-old juice vendor here on Friday.

A Mauli Jagran resident complained that the modesty of his minor daughter was outraged by a 60-year-old juice vendor here on Friday.
The father said Ram Raj of Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, outraged his daughter’s modesty when she went to buy a glass of juice from him.
According to police, Ram Raj picked her in his arms as she was having the juice and molested her.
The girl raised an alarm, following which people gathered and thrashed the accused.
Police registered a case under section 354-A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act at the Industrial Area police station.
The accused was later arrested.
