In a press statement, SAD spokesman Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said that before meeting the President, the SAD core committee would meet on May 6 at 6.30 pm in Chandigarh to deliberate on the issue and finalise the strategy to tackle the situation arising out of the decision of the Delhi court to acquit Sajjan Kumar in an anti-Sikh riots case.

He said the delegation would apprise the President of the injustice meted out to the victims of the 1984 Sikh massacre and misuse of the CBI by the Congress-led UPA government to shield their leaders, including Sajjan Kumar, Jagdish Tytler and others who had been found guilty by the Nanavati commission.
