The Ellenabad MLA said this while addressing party workers at Jind on Wednesday.

Training guns at the BJP, he said that the BJP didn't have its own candidates to contest in 90 assembly segments and was dependent on deserters of other parties.

On the prospects of BJP after the proposed induction of Congress veteran and Rajya Sabha MP Birender Singh, he said that the veteran Congress leader had lost his mind and by shifting loyalty, he would be a non-entity in the state politics.
"Switching sides would neither help Birender Singh nor the saffron party," he said.

Expressing concern over the defection in party after announcement of candidates for 62 constituencies, Abhay made an appeal to the party workers to get united and register historic victory. On resentment after ticket distribution, he said that if any of their supporters or party workers found them at fault in ticket distribution, then they should forgive them and party would make efforts to placate dissent at the party level.
