Brigadier Gill is director of war decorated India
The War Decorated India, a charitable association of gallantry awardees, has appointed Brigadier (retd) BS Gill as its state director for Punjab and Chandigarh. He will coordinate matters relating to the welfare of gallantry awardees, widows and veterans with the government and other agencies. Brigadier Gill, a veteran of 1971 Indo-Pak war and 1988-89 IPKF Operations, was awarded Vir Chakra and Prakram Padak for his bravery.
