Dhuri by-election: Punjab declares holiday on April 11 in Sangrur district

The Punjab government on Friday announced public holiday on April 11 in all government offices and educational institutes located in Sangrur district to facilitate the employees to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming Dhuri byelections.

The Punjab government on Friday announced public holiday on April 11 in all government offices and educational institutes located in Sangrur district to facilitate the employees to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming Dhuri byelections.

Disclosing this here on Friday, an official spokesperson said that other employees, who are voters of these assembly constituencies but were posted in some other area, could also take holiday by showing their voter identity cards to the competent authority.
