Starting Monday, the RLA will set a one-month deadline for vehicle owners of AC series to affix the HSRPs.
Residents can apply for HSRPs at the RLA's Sector 17 office and its sub-offices in Sector 42 and the Industrial Area with a written request detailing the vehicle's chassis number, engine number and the model, along with a copy of the vehicle's registration certificate and insurance.
Saturday will be the last day for affixing the HSRP for the ongoing CH-01-AD series. Officials said the RLA would soon write to the UT traffic police to initiate the process of challaning vehicle owners of AD series without an HSRP.
With its one-month-one-series deadline policy, the RLA has so far covered 14 series since October last year.
