The Department of Languages, Punjab, is all set to start free classes for Urdu learning, middle level, in Chandigarh from July 1.
Announcing this here on Tuesday, higher education and languages minister Surjit Singh Rakhra said the classes -- from 5.15pm to 6.15pm -- would be held for six months at Goswami Ganesh Dutt Sanatan Dharam College, Sector 32, Chandigarh, in association with the college.
Department assistant director Manjit Kaur said the residents of Chandigarh, Panchkula and SAS Nagar could take admission to the course.
