Moga molestation-death case: Ministry of Home Affairs seeks report from Punjab government

The ministry of home affairs on Thursday sought report from Punjab government on the Moga molestation-death case.

A 14-year-old girl along with her mother jumped off a moving bus to avoid molesters. The girl, a Class 7 student died on the spot while her mother sustained serious injuries.

Meanwhile, the gruesome incident have generated nationwide outrage.

Condemning the incident, Aam Aadmi Party Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann said that every driver of the Orbit bus think off himself as the deputy CM. He also demanding that they come clean on the issue. Meanwhile, Congress demanded a judicial inquiry saying that local authorities will not be able to act against the staff of the company because of the political links.
