National Voters Day was observed in different departments of the Kurukshetra University on Sunday. Students, teachers and staff pledged to use the Right to Vote unbiased and without fear.

Students welfare dean Anil Vashisth said there was a great enthusiasm among students and teachers of the university for observing 'Matdata Diwas' despite being holiday and chill weather.

Under the guidance of university's vice-chancellor DDS Sandhu, students signed a memorandum of understanding with Haryana chief election officer to promote democratic traditions and faith in democracy of voters.
