NCW chief assures help to Geetika's family

National Commission for Women (NCW) chief Mamata Sharma on Thursday visited the house of former airhostess of MDLR airlines Geetika Sharma, who committed suicide on Sunday and named the former Haryana minister Gopal Goyal Kanda in her suicide note.

During her visit to the house, Mamata said: "We will provide all kind of help to the family members of the deceased. We will appoint a lawyer for them free of cost."

She also took exception to the comments of Kanda's lawyer while seeking anticipatory bail for him.
