Nitish not to attend swearing-in ceremony of Badal

Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar will not be able to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal due to the ongoing budget session and other unavoidable reasons, an official release said.

Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar will not be able to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal due to the ongoing budget session and other unavoidable reasons, an official release said on Monday.

Kumar has deputed rural works minister Bhim Singh to attend Badal's swearing-in on his behalf, the release said. Singh has left for Chandigarh by road to be present at ceremony slated for March 14, it said.
