PPSC asked to recruit 256 docs

The Punjab health department has sent a requisition for the recruitment of 256 doctors as medical officers to the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), health minister Surjit Kumar Jyani said here on Thursday.

The minister said the PPSC would shortly invite online applications for these posts that were lying vacant.

Jyani also informed that the PPSC had completed the recruitment process of last year's requisition of 334 medical officers in three months. He said it was hoped that the commission would complete this requisition at the earliest and the health department would have services of these medical doctors later this year.
