PU extends online form submission date for students stuck in U'khand
Panjab University (PU) extended the last date for submission of online application forms for centralised admission to BCom in various colleges of the city to June 25, here this Monday.

However, the last date for submitting the hard copy of the form will remain same i.e. June 26. As many as 5,733 students have already submitted the forms offline. They can be submitted by post or hand by June 26, 5.00 pm at University School of Open Learning, PU.
The decision to extend the last date has been taken to facilitate the students who got struck in Uttarakhand due to floods, said PU spokesman.
Some students approached PU that they could not submit the form due to technical reasons, while some were stuck in Uttarakhand due to land slides and floods.
There are 1,120 seats in co-education colleges, 770 seats in women colleges and 140 seats in men's college for Bcom in Chandigarh.
