Punjab education department has directed the heads of all the senior secondary schools and high schools of the state to ensure publication of their own school magazines.

A spokesman of Punjab education department said here on Tuesday that all the schools had been asked to highlight over all round development of the students not only in academics but in extra co-curricular activities but some schools yet not publish their magazines.

The spokesman further said that those schools which did not publish magazines till date would publish the same by March 15, 2013 and send a copy to the head office. The department also directed the district education officers to make a list of magazine published in their district.
