Punjab holiday in schools tomorrow

The Punjab government has announced December 4 to be a holiday in all government schools in the state.

The decision was taken after the outstanding performance of the state (boys and girls) in the 59th National School Games held in Bathinda. Education minister Sikander Singh Maluka congratulated the students who excelled in these games and exhorted them to practise hard for future competitions.

He also congratulated the coaching staff and teachers who had trained these students.
