SAS Nagar lad Japtej singh won the best child artiste award at the Life OK Screen Awards for playing the role of young Milkha for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, based on the life of athlete Milkha Singh.

SAS Nagar lad Japtej singh won the best child artiste award at the Life OK Screen Awards for playing the role of young Milkha for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, based on the life of athlete Milkha Singh.
The twelve-year-old student of Yadavindra Public School, Chandigarh, was selected out of 6500 candidates during the Chandigarh audition. He shot his part for the film during his 40-day summer vacation in 2012.
