"Arvind met me and expressed the wish for a SIT (special investigation team) probe into the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. So, I have told him to sent me a proposal for the same," Jung told mediapersons.

Earlier on Thursday, Kejriwal confirmed his meeting with the Lt Governor (LG) and said: "Sometime next week, we will put forward the suggestion to the cabinet and if passed, the proposal would be sent to the LG."

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government said the demand for an SIT probe was part of their election manifesto.
